CHANEL FALL RTW 2011

One of the most anticipated shows this season in Paris was of course Chanel. And once again, Karl did not disappoint. Oooooh let's discuss! Today's presentation was in stark contrast to the last Spring-Summer show which was set in a beautiful manicured garden. Models walked a dark, gothic like landscape complete with steaming asphalt and edgy backdrop. The collection itself showcased lots of boucle (Chanel staple), leather and lace, silk crepe, chunky cardigans, and boxy jackets all in relaxed silhouettes with layering in full effect. The genius that is Karl Lagerfeld can't be denied. I CAPITAL L-O-V-E love Chanel and so do you. Right?? Now that that's been established you may carry on.
