After Florence we made our way to our country house on the east coast. I love going there but the trek from the Pacific to the Atlantic is a killer and we don't get out there as much as we'd like to. This time was a bit easier though coming from Europe. Two weeks in the country is a good thing as Martha would say, and a huge departure from our life in the city. It's funny, every time people see photos of the house they automatically assume I'm responsible for the decor but certain people know it's all my husband. He's an interior designer and I really can't take any credit for what goes on in the house. He has an impeccable eye and style for days. Here's some gratuitous shots for your viewing pleasure.
